Saints Row The Third has been Remastered for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There’s been a lot of remasters and remakes lately with the recently launched Definitive Edition of Mafia II disappointing many people thanks to its lack of improvements and other problems. However, when it comes to Saints Row 3 Remastered, a lot of people are simply annoyed about its Steam release date being further away thanks to an Epic Games store exclusivity deal.
Described as a hot, wonderful mess, Saints Row The Third Remastered is a re-launch of the series’ third entry that many people loved as it helped set the series apart from other open-world competitors so detractors could no longer just dismiss it as a Grand Theft Auto clone or sad wannabe.
Its remaster has launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Epic Games store today, but its Steam release date is a while away.
Saint 4 keeps freezing and crashing, can't play the game, need a fix. I don't know how common of a problem this is, but Saints 4 is unplayable for me currently. The game keeps crashing during missions and sometimes in the open world, it's impossible to play anything. Sadly, I have the same issue and also using RX480. Totally random crashes. I've had it run fine for 2 hours and crash several times in the span of 20 minutes. It has nothing to do with temps. GPU/CPU temps are well within operating limits. Also freezes at the initial Loading graphic when initially starting the game and I need to ALT-TAB past it.

Saints Row The Third Remastered price and changes
The price for Saints Row The Third Remastered is £34.99 on PS4 and the Epic Games store (£32.99 on Microsoft).
While its price is lower than the typical cost for the release of a new AAA game, you should know about the changes for Saints Row The Third Remastered before you commit to purchasing it.
As a Remastered package, you get all of the DLC from the original release which includes three expansion mission packs and 30 pieces of content.
In regard to changes, it’s mostly significant graphical enhancements.
These enhanced graphics include improved lighting as well as reworked environments and visual effects.
Steelport and its characters all look a lot shaper and the overall game is noticeably prettier compared to its 2011 ancestor.
Unfortunately, if you’re fiercely loyal to Steam you cannot experience the revamped visuals for a whole year.
What is the Saints 3 Remastered Steam release date?
The Steam release date for Saints Row The Third Remastered will happen in 2021.
As for something more specific, the Steam release date for Saints Row The Third Remastered will likely be on or after May 22nd.
This is because the game is exclusive to the Epic Games store and its exclusivity deal likely lasts 12-months judging by the 2021 launch window.
This has understandably irked lots of the PC community, but Steam users can buy the 2011 original version for just £6.99. Not only that, you can also buy the full package for just £10.99.
